Flying stories

We should have realized that things may have not gone according to plan when we found ourselves at the town of Oaklands (Not where Elvis lives) devouring scallop pies.

The “Kentish” Bakery which happens to be situated inside the Kentish pub, which happened to be open at the time.

We then arrived at site. The 1 remaining toilet role was in some demand by those that partook of the aforementioned pies.

We finally got set up after some site maintenance.

Just as we were ready to take off the cycles disssapeared for a while, then the sun came out.

Steve Norman was 1st off, brave sole that he is and proceeded to climb out to the right of launch in a spectacular fashion that then sucked the rest of us off the hill in a very lemish fashion.

Steve, Meeks and Phil managed to get some height above and flew around for 30 min or so b4 proceeding to the rocky “turnip paddock” where the car was parked and all of us did somewhat average landings.

Will, Gary, Jason and Jeremy made it to the 2nd bomb out.

We then noticed Dean had proceeded to climb out over the paddock (The bastard) and made it to cloud base (bastard).

The 3 of us that where in the rocky turnip paddock tried very hard to have positive magnanimous thoughts toward Dean as he climed oout higher than what we did but alas we could not and as a group we decided to consider him as nothing but a bastard, He then came in and did a puncy poofy bastard like good landing to further humiliate us.
